Hey guys,
I've been customizing since 1990. I also run www.joearmory.com, but I am new to this board. I've done 100s of customs over the years and I'll start posting them here to share with the group! Glad to be here! The first is Captain Eagle, of Eagle Force. If you recall, Mego Toys put out die cast metal figure in the early 80s that were about 2 inches tall. Since then, I've always thought how cool those characters would be as Joes. Here are the results! |

Hey I really like this and the funny thing is that I remember these figures and why I never got them. I remember my mother telling me to go and pick one toy out and I remember that there wasn't a big selection of toys at this store but there was a lot of those Eagle Force figures. Let's just say I went home with a plastic green army man with a parachute attach to him. HEH HEH... Nice Job on this custom. What brand of paint did you used for the gold paint?

I had a few of those figures and their jeep when I was a youngen. I remember buying one and when I opened the package the figure just fell apart. Needless to say that was the last one I bought. I still have the jeep though.

I remember these coming out right around the same time as joe. I picked up a handful of them on clearance when Zaire went out of business.
I remember trying to play with these in the bath tub but they were all die cast metal, they would sink really quickly and make a loud "donk" sound when they hit bottom! lol |

I remember them I really wanted them but Gi Joe came out months later & killed that line ( I Think Mego's demise did not help either) now I can't find them reasonably priced that is.
