Back when this was originally posted, I did this very same thing. Thanks for the tip, it worked out great.

It's great for Blowtorch and Lift Ticket as well. I did the same neck mod on them. For Blowtorch, I did the back of his neck so he wasn't always staring down.

You should do the neck mod at least. It's very easy and it'll really improve since he'll be able to look down more. Did something similar to Blowtorch as well.

Love it. I didn't know altering head motion was so simple. I had used an X-acto and a Micron pen to clean the paint slop on the mask and fix his wonky eyes. He was about my favorite Joe as a kid, so I took it all personally that he lacked his backpack. I've got a spare vintage one but no knife or classic gun! Oddly enough, my Resolute Duke's jetpack tab broke off and just by lazily rooting around I came to the same conclusion with the pen tube, they're cheap and perfect! And actually a little stiffer than some of the motr rubbery pegs, plus you can choose the length for guus like this with thick vests. Thanks for the tips!

No problem. I stole the pen tube idea from another Hisstank member. Just can't remember who.

Another thing you can use is plastruct 1/8" rods. I had some left over from a previous projsect and they work perfectly for ARAH backpack updating.
