This is my take on him, in my verse he is a desert shaman/prophet. think Nostradamus meets Rasputin. He is heavily involved with the Cobra Command inner circle. He is also CC's Dr. of Propaganda if he can't get you with flyers and movies he uses his shield for hypnotize and brainwash you. i didn't actually make the shield since I thought it looked a bit too 80's but i may end up trying it out.

this is my first try really painting a figure most of my other stuff is LBC so i am looking for feedback on the paint. I tried to do a leather look for his vest and waist thing so let me know how that looks specifically.

I liked how the "Cobra Civil War" comic gave a more serious portrayal of him similar to your description - previously I only considered him an 80's throwaway character, since he was from that same year as Raptor etc.

I'm Less of a Fan of the Bare Chest/Vest look but I can see what you're going for..

I don't like the head...Its simple and clean and kinda plain... I don't think its got the energy or expression necessary for a Whirling Dervish like Crystal Ball.
