Figures Sneak Peek by Xerofall

One of my favorite characters, Hama did a great job with him in the Marvel run, highlighted in the Cobra Civil War issues.

I wanted to try something different than a lot of other customizers did with him. So instead of buying a vintage Variable Range Optical Field Scanning Device, I opted to kit bash one. So instead of him looking through an optic viewfinder, I decided to have a laptop interface.

Recipe:
Head: Mouse
Helmet: Tomahawk
Body: Retaliation Airborne
Lower legs: 25th Destro
Vest and arm padding: 25th Scrap Iron
Rear webgear: Kit bashed Resolute Beachhead webgear
Belt: 25th Duke bandolier
Radio: Renegades Tunnel Rat
M-16: DG Duke
Binoculars: Can't remember, but they are similar to the ones that came with the Arctic Hiss Driver.

Variable Range Optical Field Scanning Device:
Resolute Firefly missile launcher, trimmed.
90 degree elbow from a plumbing fixture.
ROC Laptop.
25th Red Ninja man catcher, trimmed.

Oh, by the way, I used the back side of Scrap Iron's vest as the front, looks much better as the front of Sneak Peek.

Other than the boots, he's perfect. Great modern take on a very under appreciated character. Good job sir.

I tried other black knee high boots, like from the Crimson Guard, Vipers or even Tripwire and they all looked too skinny and whimpy.

So I told my wife who Sneak Peek was and she didn't believe me. I then told her Stephen King wrote Crystal Ball's file card and now she knows I'm making shit up. lol
