This is my First Custom!
I started with a 30th Crimson H.I.S.S. v5. 1) base coat of flat tan or khaki 2) put some 'sharp' pieces of tape in random places 3) wrapped it with a mesh laundry bag 4) light coat of satin nutmeg 5) more 'sharp' pieces of tape in random places 6) light coat of flat olive drab *opened it and thought wow that looks like a snake or lizard's mouth 7) factory stickers 8) long and painful process of adding the raised camouflage... Thanks Maverick for encouraging me to stop thinking about customs and start customizing... Last edited by Balaclava; 05-03-2013 at 12:00 PM.. Reason: More Pictures |

This turned out so well. The camo pattern and the raised mesh breaking up the outline fit in well with the angular lines of the HISS, and the whole scheme really fits well with the hyperrealistic POC style. Outstanding job! Now that you've opened the custom can of worms, I can't wait to see what comes next!
And that last pic, showing the sun shining through the plastic, is freaking cool!

Yo dawg, I heard you liked tanks so I shot your photos of your tank on a tank!
Awesome. The camo pattern turned out really sweet. |

Was leaving the interior red done intentionally? Because it looks like a snake opening its mouth that way. Pretty cool.
