Thanks for the tip...the skinny arm Shippy with the new headsculpt are the two main reasons I am passing on the whole new 5 pack all together. I think the original Shipwreck from the 25th collection is by far and away the best one we'll get. I hated the queer ass scrawny arms...he is a sailor for cryin out loud! Popeye would be sick to call him a fellow seman (HA) with twigs like those! Nice tip though...I may buy the damn thing and modify it just like yours.

I'm happy with the tattoos. They don't bother me since they are all different. Also, the Deep Six one, the arms are painted flesh so if I use the nail polish remover, it'll remove the flesh paint too. Plus, the shark tattoo is very fitting for Deep Six.

cool!...i was planning on doing this exact same thing when/if i get the new Shippy...nice to see it works out well...and thanks for the tips on the bugs that would pop up...
with all the other, first style Shipwreck bodied figures their are, i think adding the new sculp body Shippy looks good, ya know, for some variety... |

The other thing I forgot to mention is that the cuff of his right glove is a little small for the base of his wrist, so if you have the gloved hand turned the wrong way, then the wrist sticks our wider than the sleeve cuff. If you have his wrist turned at a certain angle though, it'll fit perfectly.

Those are pretty sweet. I'm having a hard time thinking of new uses for all those shippy hats.
