Does anyone know were the 25th custom Vamp to Stinger conversion tutorial thread is? I remember seeing one somewhere on here and can't find it now.

I believe that I am the only customizer that has done the Vamp/Stinger conversion. Check out JoeCustoms.com user id BCost74. I made two; one for me and the other commissioned by Kenneth Riley, jr. If interested, I can make one for you. Just pm me for further information. I even have a custom made file card for the Stinger.

CC, if you glue it you won't be able to turn it. If you have a dremel, drill a hole in the center of the round base piece where you cut the peg off. separate the base piece, insert a long thin bolt (1/8" thick x 1.5" long-full thread) into the hole. Insert the bolt through the New Vamp body hole. Place two small washers (inner diameter should be the same as the bolt, but large enough to cover the hole) on the bolt. Then tighten one nut to the bolt (snug enough to allow for the turret to turn) and then add a second nut to lock down the first. The turret will be movable and will stay in place. Hope this helps and can't wait to see how it came out.
