The way I feel is hasbro has taken the old "the movies dropping,we have a market and want to fill it but...we're lazy and opt for the less paint more plastic look on the filler figs. And focus on the key players with detail and ''OK" paint apps." Thats why I feel they are dropping the better figs on the tail end in my opinion. So when the Junks gone off the wait.We have pure heat like the blindmaster, data, budo and
the alpha vehicles. But maybe thats just me. Last edited by MethaZord; 04-02-2013 at 10:17 PM.. |

Thanks everyone!
Since the man pointed out the images are too bright I'm going to darken them up and replace the current ones with some darker ones so you can see more details.

Could be. I'm guessing that since they put so much money into the first movie line and it didn't make back what they thought it would that this time around they were taking a cheaper rout in case it didn't go over well in the box office. If it did succeed then the more, "expensive" produced figure would be released with more articulation and just better GI Joe-ness all around. I hate that the first 2 waves sacrificed so much, so much that made the line what it is but I also understand that Hasbro didn't want to take a risk like before. I still have hopes that the fans will be rewarded with the future lines, a return to what we expect from GI Joe. Wave 3 so far looks promising in that respect.
They need to really sit and think about there next move on the animation tip.because that will be key in they're next step of really getting the Brand imprinted in this next Generation. |
