i used krylon fusion burgandy on all my crimson guard vehicles. it's a darker shade which looks less cartoony than the factory red hiss tanks.

No! I think the bike is gorgeous the way it is! I am in love with this thing way more that I should be for something some might consider a simple repaint, which of course it isn't. Maybe it's the way it matches the vintage guards, I wish the modern ones hadn't been toned down as much. It will look great with the HOH guard. The factory fresh paint and decals give it an international and old school feel, like the times I first caught glimpses of the more unusual action force repaints, from when bold colors weren't so frowned upon. Would also be badass for a red laser with a crossbones sticker up front. Bravo my good sir.

it is indeed gorgeous. check out all the little detailed painted objects. that bit of work does more for it than just the stickers in my opinion. i was painting with my kids and my kids end up playing with most of my stuff so i didn't get into all the intricate detail work like yourself.

Thank you snakeeyes22 & arch2b, I appreciate your comments. I think doing custom vehicles and figures for the Crimson Guard is a fun and easy way of getting more "new" Cobra stuff that Hasbro won't make. I am working on a couple of Crimson Guard customs right now, Crimson Stinger, an arctic Crimson Guard Trooper and a very special(my most expensive customs yet)pair of figures. I would love to make a Crimson Tomahawk, Whale, Rolling Thunder, Night Raven, Sky Striker or USS Flag. The only thing that sucks about making these vehicles is that the Crimson Guard really never leaves the base where they are stationed unless it is an undercover opperation, and then they don't take a vehicle that has Cobra markings on it either. I can't wait to see some of the Crimson Devilfish customs that some of the tankers ordered when they are finished.
