Built a crude light box before I buy a pro kit, I wanted to see if it makes that much of a difference in photos ... you be the judges .. how do they look?

you might want to try and light each side to eliminate shadows

you need the background in the light Box to be dark like grey or black to absorb the light

i keep trying to light my pics where there is no shadow behind them and no matter how many lights i put around it never works for me, you seem to have the same shadows i always get.

I don't think they look better in the lightbox.
I have a lights above the table that I take pictures on that casts the shadow on the "ground" so it does not show up on the back wall. use a flashlight to show you where your shadow is gonna show-up and then mount your lights in the best spot. also- if you have enough light you wont need to use a flash. that will help reduce the shadows on the back wall if you can see this pic, you can see how I have my (3) lights set-up: Last edited by Indiana Joe; 03-31-2013 at 03:45 PM.. |

It reduces the glare considerably. They look good!
