Very nice work! I love seeing MASK characters in 4" scale.

AWESOME!! I love seeing M.A.S.K. in 4 inch scale too!
Brad, Alex, Bruce, & Gloria look awesome as well! Hasbro has got to know how much they could make with a MASK toyline! |

Thanks, guys.
I don't do masks for my MASK customs because I want them to read more as GI Joe characters. Giving them masks, to me anyway, pulls them further away from being a research and development unit tucked under the GI Joe umbrella. That and I'm too lazy to make masks. With the exception of Gloria Baker, I also tried to push their color sets slightly towards being more military in appearance. Some more than others, but always a little. I did do an alternate masked head for my Miles Mayhem custom, but only because I felt he needed it as part of the pilot uniform. |

And I'd imagine the torpedoing of the Thundercats relaunch has probably made most manufacturers leery about trying to revive second-tier nostalgia brands for the forseeable future (except as heavily collector-oriented product by smaller manufacturers). But more on-topic: Those are some very cool customs. I really like Bruce and Hondo. Also digging the idea of MASK as a R&D adjunct to G.I. Joe. |
