I had two goals with this. First, I wanted to try and stick as much as possible to just one Kre-O set on the shelf. And second, to try to be close to the original in block form. I think I came pretty close to both goals.
This is made using the Kre-O Series 1 Transformers Bumblebee set with only 4 additional pieces: two extra wheels and two extra rounded off hood pieces. Alternate Mode

What set did you get the extra pieces from? Is this the small BB set or the bigger one from series one?

It's the bigger one from Series 1. The 4 extra pieces came from a 2nd big Bumblebee Series 1 set. You can get the extra 2 hood pieces from the mini Bumblebee set, but the wheels will have to come from a bigger set like Bumblebee or Sideswipe.

Damn. I've got the big Bumblebee set, but don't really want buy another. I've got 1 of each of series 1 and 2, but I haven't put all of them together.

I built a 2nd one using almost entirely the huge Optimus Prime set as a base (with a few of pieces from the Series 2 army builder set.) The Main wheels for Optimus Prime works well as an alternative. Would you like a pic?
