I'm clueless on the skin tones!!! I don't want to repaint his head because I'll ruin his eyes... any recommendations on what I can do with his hands?

It looks good, I'm just not a fan of the head. Doesn't look like Duke to me. Now granted it doesn't look like an 18 yr.old I just got my booty out of boot camp, like the other heads does... he looks more like maybemid 20s, but still not Dukeish to me.

It reminds me of the Duke from 1992... Battle Corps or whatever. A lot better than the 84 version where he's smiling like a serial killer. I know a lot of people view Duke through the cartoon's image, but he seemed too generic and Aryan for me.

Get the "baby fresh pink" and mix a little white in there, test it on a fodder fig, with a little doing you should be able to get the right tone.

Fool proofs right.
Test it till you get the color. Why not put some tape over the eyes or something. Something that'll come off easy when you pull on it but something that won't peel off the paint. Scotch tape maybe? |

TF Duke's arms match decent. Where'd your arms come from, the silly DVD screaming Duke? He's way too toasty pink for my taste.
I still don't like that W13 Duke head, but the rest looks good. If you like it, then good for you; it's all about the customizer being happy in the end. Don't get me wrong, I still don't like the first head we got, but the new one's teeth/mouth sit too low on his skull. |

I like comic Duke and the cartoon Duke was good. Maybe this head will grow on me, sometimes that happens. I too though like definitive heads on my figures (unless its greenshirts or namless Cobras). Anyways looks like you did a nice job.

My definitive Duke has a US Flag, mouth open, and CP Kelly Green pants. He has a jetpack too. HOT!

Not fond of that head, for Duke. Otherwise, he looks good. I just finished my own definitive Duke, this week. I used a Wave 9 Hawk head.
One thing you can try for the skin tones, is to match head's color, so you only need to repaint the neck. A little color difference between head and hands isn't that unusual. |
