Ok guys I have another one for you!
This was the second one that I did a face repaint on. her plastic is pretty hard so i used acetone to remove it, turns out her head is cast in the same color as her hair. So I had to repaint her entire face. I used acrylic vallejo paints thinned down with some matte medium I applied about 3 layers to get a good even coat. Once that dried I used the pastels and applied a dusting of flesh color to her face to help fill in any thin areas. Applied a coat of MSC then started in on her cheek shading. I went a little harsh on this one on accident. She doesn't look as stark in person. but what can ya do? I added a wash of paint to her hair as well to make it more brown red and just look better overall. I think I made her eyes a bit too big but that is part of learning. ;) I also tried to make her eyelashes and the outline around her eyes a dark brown that was similar to her hair instead of the stark black I used on lady jaye. And I will be going to TRU today to try and pick up another Joe C so I can put together a tutorial for you all.

I think she looks great. I also think your self-criticisms are spot on as well. Don't be too harsh though because they are really little things, but the fact that you do such amazing work, and you are accurate when judging your own work shows how good you really are. She looks great....... your version makes me realize how plain that scarjo headsculpt really is...
Well done again! Edit..I think you are going to be getting some commission requests really soon-if not already.

Looks quite good overall. Do the pastels become darker after spraying with clear coat? Sometimes that can work to your advantage, but if your pastel's value is lighter than what it's on top of, it often has a difficult time showing up. How long does it take you to do a repainting of the head? I am working on some myself, and it can take more than a few hours sometimes, just depending on the sort of corrections that need to be made.
Really nice work on all of these and keep it up!

Well done again! Edit..I think you are going to be getting some commission requests really soon-if not already. The next figure I did I actually fixed all the issues I had with this one. Already got one. LOL But my business keeps me very busy and I don't have a lot of free time to be able to commit to commissions so I will probably just throw up a figure or two on ebay after I get that tutorial done.

She looks great. The Marvel figures seem to have better face paint than the Joes in the first place. I really like how the eyeliner on this one turned out.
