what other toy lines have parts , mainly heads ,compatable (size wise) with the 25th line ?
i know most star wars, and indiana jones figures work, but what about the 3 3/4 DC , and Marvel lines ? or them build n brawl WWE figures ? or any other lines any one can think of.... |

The Wolverine Origins figure's heads are compatible. You may have to carve out or fill the head hole a bit like the Star Wars and Indiana Jones figs.

Well, i was thinking on buying some Pirates of the caribbean.
They seem to have the same size, cool gear (specially Kheira K in oriental gear), and even when they lack some articulation, hands, feet and heads are good and quite original (bare feet aren't found among Joes, for example)...and more importantly: they're much more cheaper than Joes Btw, SW Clone Wars troopers figures have absolutely awesome hands. They have an extra wrist articulation that could make wonders in Joes. And the plastic is really soft and flexible, very useful. |

I've used parts/figures from:
Star Wars Indiana Jones DC Universe Marvel Universe Wolverine movie WWE Build n Brawl Pirates of the Caribbean Hellboy Ages of Action Elite Forces Forces of Valor Chap Mei Harry Potter Star Trek (new film, not out yet) Chronicles of Narnia Plus you can sometimes adapt pieces/parts from Lego Kubrick Mez-itz Bust-ups Of course not every line/every piece/every figure is compatible size-wise, some are hit or miss, some are small, some are big, etc. etc. But I've used parts from all of those lines.

The WWE Build 'n' Brawl heads scale nicely with the 25th Anniversary GI Joe bodies. We used a Randy Orton head for our Mercer custom.
Also, the heads from the Marvel Superhero Showdown 4-inch line of figures are good scale-wise (although the selection of non-masked heads is pretty limited). Last edited by zuludelta; 03-24-2009 at 11:43 AM.. |
