Anyone have questions on other tools, jump in.
I have some questions about pin vises. Let's ay I want to sling my weapons. What should I be looking for in a pin vise? There's all kinds of different styles of pin vise - some are double-headed, some have a swivel on the back like a jeweler's screwdriver, some have a big ball swivel. My gut says go with the screwdriver-style swivel. Any advise? What size bits should I be looking at? What size ring?

Ah I see you are the proud owner of a Double slinged mac 10 I made man those went fast!
Best bet my man is use Dremel ($20.00 at Wallmart I think) and the smallest pin sized drill bit they make. Ring size I can't think of them off my head but they are the smallest size you can find at any hobby craft store. |

I preffer the control of a pin vice. I have two double ended ones, and one that's mini spiral drill. (push the collar down, and the pin vice spins) I'd suggest either a double ended one, or one with a swivel at the back. They'll give you great control, for drilling guns.
You can use the smallest eye pins you can find in the craft section, or you can buy a spool of thin silver colored wire, and a pair of small round jawed pliers. The round jawed (or nosed, whatever) pliers will let you make rings whatever size you want, depending on where on the pliers you form them. You'll also want to get a pair of flush cut, wire cutters. |

I actually use an Exacto handle(pen sized diameter)with my bits. I can't think of the bit size I use at the moment, but it's really frickin' small(from a hobby store). Anyway, drilling the holes by hand gives me better control.
