Have been playing around with blood splatters, and this is what i ended up with.

Looks good. Though you might want to play with shaping them a bit to add the element of origin. Allows to see which direction the splatter came from.

cheers fella, at the moment I'm just squeezing the ink from a sharpy onto paper and like making a sharp blow in the direction i want it to spray, any better techniques?

Don't get me wrong, I think you have done an absolute great job here and I am in no way trying to criticize your work.
I don't know any techniques that CV would help though
