Paint thinner can destroy plastic and risk getting it on other paint...
Use denatured alcohol. You can get a whole big tub thing of it for like $5 or less at Wal-Mart. Use that. It takes a while, but I took off Shipwreck's tattoo easily with it, and the red paint on TF Duke's collar. Paint thinner WILL work faster, but I've destroyed too many TFs' plastic by using paint thinner... Not sure how it reacts to Joes, but it discolors the plastic and makes it brittle... I haven't had any bad luck with denatured alcohol. Just ask for it at the paint section, it's in the thinners/etc. You may have to be 18 or older to buy it though, assuming that you are, like most folks on this board. |
