We customizers keep our parts in bins, boxes, pull-out plastic file drawers, baggies, you name it. For the longest time I had my GI Joe parts scattered around in a big 3-draw plastic bin and had to search through weapons, bodies, legs, backpacks, just to find a head I was looking for. NO LONGER! I came across these 'Snap Ware' holiday containers at Target and haven't seen them anywhere else.
Basically for about $5.99 you get 3-5 trays of varying sizes that snap on to each other in a stack. Neat thing is they don't really have a 'bottom', you just snap the last tray on to a new stack and they keep growing! I bought enough to make a 5-foot tower if I wanted. So now I keep all my body parts, gear, heads, weapons, arms, etc seperate and in a neat little stack. And if I ever needed to go to a convention I could use them to carry my customs in. Thought I'd let everyone know because they're on sale at Target and who knows when they'll get rid of them. Here's some pics of them sitting on my messy design table. |
