I'm not saying it's not 'good,' I'm just seeing a bunch of people go "WOW I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU MADE IT TRANSFORM" when he, er, didn't, and just took an existing motorcycle TF and grafted RAM parts onto it. That's 'cool' and it works and everything, but he didn't design the transformation.
And you won't be seeing me do that because then I'd have to spend upwards of $20 on a Lugnutz, a pack with the RAM, and paint. |

The contest didn't call for anyone to hand sculpt their transformer out of a block of plastic and add their own transformations... What Dr. Vile did is awesome and half the awesomeness is how simple some of the things might be.. yet he took it, and pulled it off and made it work. Kudos for him for taking the time, to find a TFer that looked and fit just right for the RAM cycle... That's why it's so cool, and that's why people are praising him for it... ;) |

Once again, thanks for all the online support and a very clear definition of ' custom'.

I love how tons of people are praising the transformation when all he did was take an existing motorcycle Transformer and graft some RAM bits onto it.

I was wondering when someone would do this. I was just thinking about the same thing the other day. Same with the armadillo. I could defintily see it as armorhide or demolisher. But I love my toys the way they are and not too much into making customs anymore. Great job man! Don't listen to nay sayers, I beleive somone is a little jealous on here that they didn't think of it first.

What I'm criticizing is the folk who are all "WOW I STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW IT TRANSFORMS" when he 'didn't alter most of the transformation.' It's like the one guy who said he couldn't figure out where the head goes. The dude didn't do that! That's part of Lugnutz' engineering! So it doesn't make sense to praise him for that. It'd be like if I posted a custom using Snake Eyes' web gear, and someone saying "Wow! That's some great web gear you made!" ....except I didn't make it, it's just Snake Eyes' web gear. So are we clear? I never said this was a bad custom. I said that some people need to actually look into Transformers a little more and actually know what the hell the figures are made of. |

Maybe it's just me but he looks too much like Megatron with the gun on his arm. Perhaps the gun should have been like Prime's trailer that just disappears somewhere into the background when Prime transforms into a robot.
