For those of you who have tackled Tiger Force figures, how did you pull off the tiger stripes? I've been having a hell of a time. Did you use tape, free hand, a trick I may not be privy to? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Wow, those are some very informative guides. Makes me want to paint something in the Tiger Force colors.

I tackled my first one by free hand. You need a small brush to get it just right. Take your time. I have another TF fig WIP currently.

Thanks for those tutorials, and the quick response. I guess it's gonna take me a while to get them down and then fine tune them. I am also thinking my MM Yellow is too thin and is taking too many coats in my practice runs.

Good idea Barbecue. I was trying to think what I could use for straight lines.

I have to question though, how does that work? You draw the fine lines with paint on the metal tip?

I paint them by hand (figures). You have to have a great brush and great paint.
I'm using a "fine detail" brush from Games Workshop, its not the amount of brissles it has either, its the shape. you can find GW brushes and paints at most hobby stores where ever warhammer is sold or go to Games Workshop there are other great paints out there but I haven't needed to switch yet. hope that helps. also you have to keep the paint thin (not watery) if its too thin it will just run into the cracks. Just practice on a throw away fig until you get the hang of it... my first TF figs were terrible if you need any more help send me an email I have lots of time durring the day
