This is my very first completed custom figure! The paint apps would be 100% perfect had I not had issues with the sealer that caused the paint to discolour in a few spots, most of which are thankfully hidden by the vest. I learned a lot doing this figure and I've got many more figures in the works which are soon to come. They are only going to get better folks and I'm really excited!
The very first pic is a completely unaltered shot of the fig. The second shot is Toxo-Viper in action. Check out Dudesnbots on Flickr (The link is in my sig) for more shots of this kind of awesomeness. The Toxo-Viper is based off of Ratfink's design but with a few subtle tweaks in paint that make it more faithful to the original version. I'm sure you all know him around the Tank but check out his site here: Ratfinks custom toys His work has definitely inspired me. He also puts his amazing customs up on Ebay from time to time. Helmet, Backpack and Vest cast by Raginspoon's Custom Cast Parts and Figures (An awesome guy to deal with by the way). I highly recommend him to be your caster of choice! Raginspoon's Custom Cast Parts and Figures - Home The body is a repaint of that ghastly neon orange jacketed version of Doc. Thanks! If only Hasbro would, then I wouldn't have to make my own. Being frustrated by that sort of thing by the outrageous prices of the Con exclusives and FSS led me to finding out about the amazing work that custom casters like Raginspoon do. From there, it was just a matter of making my own. I'm really glad that I've taken my first few steps into the customizing world. Not only is it fun, but now I care a lot less about what Hasbro does!
Thanks! Quote:
Thanks Darkwind. Yeah, Jay and I have been floating around this site for a while now and like the Flickr gang, it is a great community of peeps. Quote:
Thank you!

Great job on this. The paint was so clean and sharp I thought it was dremeled from the original figure.
