Hi there.
I bought via ebay a really cheap Croc master prototype without accesories. I wanted it for parts, but I realized that it would be a shame to destroy it, so I painted it, added some extras. I made the air tank from Burnout backpack. Machete, dagger and knife all custom made. Last edited by bender1988h; 12-22-2014 at 05:36 AM.. |

I don't wish to be rude, but this figure looks rushed.
Paintwork is sloppy, parts are gleud on without them beeing attached to something. This figure lacks sharpness & detail... After saying this maybe harsh comment,I'd like to give you some advice : -drop te enamel paint,go for acrylic...that paint dries quicker and you can paint details like buttons without paint dripping -spraypaint your parts/figure with a mat varnish first ( available in hobbyshops ),that way the paint sticks better This is a critical element if you like a crisp result... -When after that you've painted everything and all paint is dry, spraypaint over everything with the mat varnish to prevent the paint from chipping of... -buy descent brushes, not the cheap hobbypaintbrushes...they're worth it -And last but not least,if you have trouble seeiing the details buy a magnifiying headset with build in light I hope you take my advice, and I'd love to see the results on here ;-) cheerio |

deadfish- thank You
Daver- Also thank You for the advice- I am a noob with customing, and I aprieciate the advices. I am better at drawing than figure customing hehe. You will be suprised but I am using acrylics. Indeed it was a sloppy and quick "custom". The main problem with painting I have is not the bad paint, but the brushes-You are 100% right that I should invest in them- I am using cheap ones-who suck. Again- Thank For advices- gonna try to apply them in the future |

You've definitely got potential here. He just looks a little too cluttered with junk. How's he gonna navigate the growth in a swamp while carrying all of that stuff?

I agree both with Daver's critiques and his constructive comments. Great idea, big potential, but not the greatest execution. Like he said, it's a sloppy paintjob, but I love what you were going for here, and anyone attempting a Croc Master custom is cool in my book.
I can already tell you're getting much better with that Lobo you just posted...that one came out sweet. Luckily, these forums are a great place to get honest feedback and expert advice from people who want to help you get better, as opposed to dicks who just point and go OMGUSUXLOL.
