The following customs are what I like to consider my "waste of time series."
These are the figures that very shortly after I completed them hasbro released their protos for. docscustomfigures/GI JOE/waste of time - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting The following link are ones hasbro has not released yet. docscustomfigures/GI JOE/added 1 9 08 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Since I do not have my printer hooked up I make my stands custom to the figures. I really like this and it is the perfect way to finish up a custom. Some of my customs I posted a long time ago so I figured many of you had not seen them yet. These are just my Joe customs with the exception of my PP (I have the officer painted but his helmet needs to be touched up) I have a handful of cobra made but I have not finished their stands. Hopefully in a few weeks I will have time for that as well. I am gone this weekend so I will not see what you all have to say until Monday morning. Hope you enjoy. Oh by the way Rock N Roll V 2 is currently painted like the original but looks very boring so I am going to spice that up a lot when I have the time. |

Good Lord man! You have been busy! There are some real winners in all of these regardless if Hasbro went ahead and released them. I esp like your Blizzard and Ambush and all your theme stands!

I would have to agree...the Blizzard and Marauders look great. I wish Hasbro would look at your Mutt legs/hips set up instead of the "big boned" version we currently have!

By the way I read a lot of threads of people using testors. For the last ten years I have been faithful and never dissappointed with apple barrel paints. They cost about 54 cents for a good size bottle at wm. I bought all my paints I am using now five years ago and only have had to replace black and browns. These last a long time and in my opinion are the best.
Thanks for the feedback thus far. The Mutt I have in there was made back in late 07. I posted it a couple of days after hasbro released their proto and some guy on here said 'what a waste of time" thus why I call those my 'waste of time figures. |

They look good. I wouldn't call them a waste of time. I use Apple Barrel as well.

Waste of time nothin'! They look as good as Hasbro's, plus you didn't have to wait.
