Updated the pics maybe these will look better, others were dry and blurry I found later.
Paint is the standard Folk art stuff from Walmarts craft area. However I am starting to use more of Testors Model master acrylics, seems to apply smoother and less clunky than folk art. |

Yeah don't give up on yours! I am not here to show up on anyone, it is great to get ideas from others as they make these things LOL. I had a different head I made outta of a reguar cobra trooper with a black mask and carved out Dataframes helmet and glued em togther with some silver goggles I trimed up off another figure to fit like CGIs but it did not look as good as usuing my original head. Your working on one with a newer head so keep working on it! Also and was going to use Destro Pilots from the new comic packs breastplate (if it is removable) but worked out sanding and filing away the old CGs front body piece into a chest overlay worked for me.

yeah im still gonna do mine. i was just saying yours is so spot on its ridiculous...it looks fantastic! but yeah im still doing mine. thanks for the encouragement
