Those 'enemy target' panels look great! They remind me of the DR WHO cards that used to come with Weetabix cereal (and that's a compliment, if you're too young to remember them!!;))

Here's another SAS custom.
This is Quickfire... The UK version of GI Joe - Action Force - all looked like the GI Joe head and just had solid arms and legs. Here's the original figure. The 'classic' head is an alternate version. Here's the original figure... Commando We had a Z Force (Infantry) where a repainted Scarlett was called Quarrel (She had the RAM Cycle) My SAS version... and the original version... Quarrel |

The SAS Force (UK GI Joes) keep coming...
When Action Force used vehicles, they invariably imported the moulds for GI Joe figures. 'Hunter' operated the Wolverine (That Cover Girl operated in the US line) and it was decked out in black and grey SAS colours for the UK. The pilot was actually a Cobra Officer repainted in this colour scheme, but he was a goodie! The second is a new character of my own making - I was sent a spare Snow Job by accident, so I have sculpted a gas mask directly over his face and repainted, with araldite resin added after for lenses |

I'm loving this thread!
I had all the Action Force stuff when I was a kid too - and was so frustrated that Eagle wasn't a jointed figure like Stalker & Blades. Your Eagle is amazing, the sculpting is top notch. Any chance of a Chopper/Sparrowhawk??!! I hope you'll try your hand at Z-Force too. I was never a fan of the neon colours of Q-Force & Space Force though! |
