I like to use a lot of found materials and I can't see buying poster board when I have a ton of it in my recycling. Here are a couple WIP pics Side Note: This was post #420 for me

AMAZING work! I love everything about it! Especially the set & motorcycle you gave ger. We are in the minority of those who like this bike, you know that?
PLEASE more WIPs of the set? That is something which I have long wanted to tackle - a sci fi corridor! And you killed it! I applaud your vision, sir. You are an amazing, inspiring artist!

You're gonna laugh. The set is mostly cheez-it boxes and spackle. Other materials include: wooden coffee stirrers, dow foam, balsa wood, little screws, parts from a broken egg timer, busted circuit boards, a glass tube from a cigar. plastic from a tupperware lid, a Ben 10 gun, a guitar cable and a plastic core from a register tape. I like to use a lot of found materials and I can't see buying poster board when I have a ton of it in my recycling. Here are a couple WIP pics Side Note: This was post #420 for me Seriously dude, its clean, its crisp, it all flows so well together ... just amazing. As for materials, I'm in your boat, I keep everything if I can use it. Lids from mouthwash or other bottles, the bottle if need be. Broken PC parts, scrap cardboard, wood basically anything I might be able to use. I have bins of this stuff. Congrats on the 420 post ... Ill celebrate for you.

Everything here = awesome
That helmet is so cool, very vintage scifi looking. An the dio, well, attention to detail really shows. Can't wait to see more.

Sorry, I tend to forget to take WIP shots, so I don't have any more. The only reason I have these is that I wanted proof that I actually built it. If I were to do it again, I would use wood instead of foam, for the beams. I'm working on a set now that I'll put up a WIP for.

Thanks. You know, I credit your work with being what inspired me to give customizing a go. R.A. Storm Shadow remains my favorite to date. That and WW2 Firefly. So, thanks.

Awesome work on the whole package, the effort really shows. I too like the vintage sci-fi pulp look to the figure, and that cloak, nice touch!
Kinda reminds me of that Gatchaman cartoon from waaaay back. |
