Hey Tank!
Today, I received the rest of the parts I needed to finish my first custom. So I sat down, and finished my very first 25th Style custom. First off I wanna thank Kingsurlycrab and Big Boss 83 cause I wouldnt have been able to complete this without the parts they gave me. Alright, let me give you the story behind the character first. You should know this is a self custom of me, in the Joeverse. In this Joeverse, GI JOE has a special undercover division that focuses on infiltration and sabotage. In this case my Joe' is in deep cover, posing as a member of an outlaw motorcycle club, "Black Blood Motorcycle Club" founded in Clearfield, PA, a small central PA town, in the late 70's. He is a member of the original charter there in Clearfield, and is just now beginning to get inline with the Dreadnok's local charter close by in neighboring New Jersey, who are posing as yet ANOTHER outlaw motorcycle club in order to stay under the radar while they generate income from the protection racket in the small lot of towns they control in southern Jersey. With his trusty M1 Carbine by his side, he rides off into the night, on his Harley, and undoubtedly into certain danger. His mission is to collect evidence against the Jersey chapter of the Nok's and ultimately expose and eliminate them. Now! For the pictures! I have a ton, so sit back! And please, excuse the quality, my light tent has not arrived in the mail yet. Basic shots: See next post for continued images.

Pre-paint:
First thing I did was detail his boots, cause the ones that come with the original figure aren't blacked in. I painted the torso olive drab, cause the top was sort of olive drab, and the lower half was bare flesh. Next post will contain leg/belt detail pictures.

I used a real chain because plastic didn't get the effect across. I still have to put the MC logo and rockers on the jacket, and paint the eyes blue, but its essentially finished. It may not look like alot of work, but it was, considering most of the parts had to be "Edited" to fit together. Had to cut away parts of the arm's pegs to fit the torso, had to shave away parts of the lower torso peg to fit together, and I had to sand down the general shape of the lower torso because it limited movement. The chain was by far the hardest part. I had to clip two little metal rings on one side only, thread them into the full chain, then thread the belt though the clipped links and lastly close them with pliers. It took over an hour to do the chain alone. Anyway, thats it. Im quite pleased with the outcome, and I hope I can start on my next custom soon. Enjoy.

Huff. Everyone keeps saying that. From certain angles the figure does, but at others it looks like me.
