This is what I've come up with as my 'standard' for Iron Grenadier Infantrymen. The distinct lack of spare ammunition, grenades and other combat essentials had always bothered me, much like the ceremonial swords. Don't get me wrong - I like the swords, but I felt that they were impractical to wear into combat as they would always be snagging on things as the Grenadier tried to move around. So I designed an infantryman's belt for all of my IG infantry forces. I made it by taking a 25th Iron Grenadier belt, cutting the sword scabbard off and then attaching pouches and other items to it. The IG Infantryman's Belt features (6) rifle magazines, (1) utility pouch, (3) hand grenades and (1) canteen. Like many others, I've always figured that each Grenadier's helmet is equipped with an intra-unit communications package, allowing troops to talk to each other during combat operations. However, I thought that the Officer's Helmet should incorporate a global communications system, which allows the unit commander on the battlefield to communicate directly with Castle Destro. Both the Officer's Helmet and the Infantryman's Belt are now available from Raginspoon. |

Awesome. I also like that you did a better job painting the helmets than Hasbro did on theirs. Some of those have really, really sloppy paintjobs.

Those are awesome! Wish Hasbro would give us something like this. The heavy gunner one was cool, only wanted a couple though as they are so specialized but I'd army build a ton of these!
