Hi all this thread is to show my most involved custom so far(usualy just parts swapping) Im a big fan of the ongoing comics and mainframe is quite a common character so I wanted one for my collection.
Base figure is a renegade Duke with the gears(screen, keyboard, webgear and mp5) from a poc Hawk, backpack and screen bracket is done with styrene. At first I wanted to use the screen as some sort of Ipad but then I thought of Akiba in Metal Gear Solid 4 and for the screen yeah I know its certainly not the most functional set up but I thought it looked cool and was a good gimmick. Ready for some on the field hacking but do not be fooled by his techie status he is a Joe nonetheless and can defend himself with his mp5 Sorry for the quality of the picture I only got my cellphone |

Very cool. Is that a Renegades Duke head? How did you do the hair and gotee?

not the best head but yeah I'm stealing this idea. Really cool job. Even though the duke head isn't ideal you did some great detail work with the earpiece. I've been wanting to make a Mainframe custom and didn't have the creativity to think up something so dynamic. Awesome job!

Great job. Mainframe def needs an update and I like your head choice and accessory choices. Hasbro should def run with this IDW-inspired scheme!
