I'd suggest taking more time with them. They're good ideas, but it seems you rushed through them.
There's nothing to say you can't use the same parts again - and if you make some minor adjustments I think you could really surprise yourself. Try using thinner and more even coats of paint, or simply invest in a better paint. Give yourself plenty of time and try to be as exact as possible - it may seem like a pian at first but it's actually pretty fun to sketch out your ideas first and use every tool at your disposal to get everything perfect (just don't become OCD, like some of us or you'll never get anything done). You asked for an opinion and mine is that you need more practice. But, what would the fun be if I told you everything was perfect - you'd have nowhere to go. Some of the best customizers I can think of started making customs just like yours. So, I think you just need practice, encouragement and honest feedback.
