Here is a quick fix I did for the Duke Resolute. I thought it was crazy that after all the 25th figs we've gotten with actual holsters and sidearms, they would give us a fig with a molded one. So, I took an Exacto to it, and I took a holster from a comic pack duke and chiseled off the peg. I painted it black and super-glued it to his leg. It isn't the greatest job, but it looks alright. I had to used a holster for the right leg because I didn't have a left leg holster. It works, I guess.
I also thought he needed a helmet and I added one of the satchels that we got with Snake Eyes. I thought this made him look a little more "commando-like".

Another quickie that I did was take a Duke head and put it on a Snake Eyes body. It is like the Black Ops Duke in one of the DDP comics -- Reloaded, I think. I added the night vision helmet/goggles from the VvV Sand Viper. I'm gonna use it in a night ops display.

Have you ever tried to draw a pistol from your opposite leg? Poor duke.

I remember when I first saw the cover of that Black Ops Duke issue, and I thought, "How's Snake-Eyes going to get out of THIS one?"
I don't know. The Black Ops one looks more like an unmaksed Snake-Eyes to me and I'm not crazy on the backwards holster (though I understand the reasoning). Points for effort and props, though. Hope I don't sound like a hater...

No. I'm also not a trained military professional like Duke is. While falling out of favor, the cross draw style is completely valid with a range of benefits that would justify its use. And no one complains about Wild Bill's preference for it.

I think working holsters are totally over-rated, but I know I am in the minority on that one.
