I assume these will be front-paged?
Amazing work, the Skystriker was meant to be chromed. The Mauler is just amazing - could sit that baby next to the Sky Havoc and it would look factory. I am surprised that the Phantom is not blowing me away as much - maybe it would look more sky worthy if the secondary parts on the Jet were chromed instead of the main body. Regardless, it is still awesome. Congrats on powering through, getting good advice and making it happen!

thanks for all the atta-boys everyone, i spent a loooong time from idea to finished product. glad it's appreciated. i'm HOPING the X19 and Mauler will be one of a kind, at least for a while... The process used by chrome tech per his page is "Vacuum metalizing of aluminum" -ie 'makes plastic shiny'. what this means to ME now is that i now have THREE more chromed vehicles to be super paranoid about next to my Sky Raven. Mine still looks factory shiny- all i did was NEVER. EVER. spray cleaner on it and touch it only sparingly, usually with cotton gloves, and i kept it stored for almost 20 years in a closet under a white cotton T shirt. saved it from all the nicotine floating around that house. In the case of the X19 i chromed only the upper, keeping in with the Raven, and gloss blacked the lower. I left pretty much everything else alone on that jet because they'd be tough to hold paint, etc...
