Started this guy back in May when the Retaliation stuff first hit stores. Was so disappointed with the great looking figure with 70's Star Wars articulation, I felt something had to be done.
Didn't want to just cut one apart and add joints, so I came up with my own version. I added almost as much detail from the original that I wanted(may do another with more detail later). So, let's see if I can recall the final parts tally: Torso: RoC The Doctor. Upper arms and lower left arm: 30th Techno Viper. Lower Right arm: 30th Sci-Fi modified. Armor: 25th Wraith heavily modified. Belt: forgot. Upper legs: 25th Wraith very heavily modified. Lower legs: forget exactly, but think a Roc viper, modified. Feet: Renegades Tunnel Rat. Forgot to mention parts used for the arm gun: main tubes: styrene. endcap: styrene. sight: portion of model car third brakelight. strap: green stuff with file end rolled for texture. clip: half leg clip from 25th Para-viper. Wasn't too happy it took me this long to finally have a proper pilot/commander for my first custom Hiss, but at the same time, I'm happy with the results and that I took my time. I guess two of the biggest changes I made/didn't add were the silver knees and boots. I wanted it to be a more removeable armor. Again, maybe those will be added with another CC in the future. Anyway, onward to the pics: And some pics with his personal Hiss:

Nice, looks SOOO much better than the actual figure. I especially admire the work on the chest armor, looks perfect.

Air-tight: If they're the right size, those would work much better than what my 3 year old printer can do as seen in the pics, so yeah thanks!

This is way beyond cool. Wow! Why couldn't Hasbro not cut costs and give us this. Heck they already cut costs on the vehicle itself!

Nice!
Hasbro got really cheap and lazy on this series of drivers.

Really appreciate it guys!!! That is exactly why I started this and my first Hiss custom barely before the line hit most stores(used DCPI and a friend to get them early). I was just so excited when I first saw the CC for the Hiss V6, but then after opening the box, I damn near threw him across the room before contemplating if I got sucked into some kind of time warp upon seeing his 70's era articulation. So, figured, this had to be done. Again thanks to everyone for the support both here and in the wip section!
