Here is my latest python custom, the Python Patrol Rolling Thunder. I have made the switch for mesh to striping tape. It is far more time consuming and labor intensive but I love the results. Its a little different than the classic python vehicle pattern released on the toys. This pattern is meant more to resemble the pattern seen in the Operation Dragonfire mini-series; larger more angular diamonds with straighter lines in between.
I originally started this custom as a commission but the buyer had to back out, so for now its mine to keep which isn't so bad. That is also the primary reason I used yellow instead of gold on this custom, which actually looks pretty good. I might be on the fence about using gold in the future and sticking to the classic yellow, we will see. |

Beautiful work Python Viper. I'm not a PP fan, but can appriciate all the hard work you put into striping that for paint.

nicely done! i can really appreciate the pattern over the missiles in particular. i know how hard it is to do that over round and curved surfaces.

Great job Aaron, and I have to agree with arch2b on the missiles, that's easier said than done. You did a great job on this one, and you made me pull out a rolling thunder, I'm really thinking hard about it
