That is awsome. I second that, what you said about the Moto-Viper and his color scheme; it always looked right on the money. Color coordinate! Lol. I still have mine and wish that Hasbro would get off thier @$$ and make a 25th version just like yours! Really nice work. What did you use for body parts if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for the pics.
* Head = Original/Vintage Motor Viper * Upper torso, lower torso, and belt = HissTank Driver * Shoulder Tubing = Eel's breathing tubes (things were too short to let the Eel's head move) and breathing tubes from a Star Wars helmet. * Torso Tubing = Cobra Paratrooper's breathing tubes. * Upper Arms = Swamp Zartan * Lower Arms and Hands = HissTank Driver * Upper Legs = Swamp Zartan * Right Gun Holster = HissTank Driver * Left Gun Holster = a Duke figure * Holster Straps = those clear bands that some of the figures or accessories get wrapped in. * Lower legs and Feet = Viper And of course, black, dark blue, powder blue, and silver paints. Unfortunately, the light blue I chose is just a shade darker than the original's. |

Yup, that's the original vintage head on there.
It did look a little big, but I couldn't find a comparable head or helmet that reminded me of the original one. .....Besides, I can just say that the helmet is heavily padded with a massive-ass visor (sorta like a motorcycle helmet). ;) Maybe he's wearing the Gary Busey Helmet protector-protector. (fondly remembers great Saturday Night Live skit) |

awesome use of parts! I had been contemplating making one but won't even try, I can't top the smarts that went into yours. the head is a little too big, though. you know what might work better is a Cobra Coils helmet.
