Minimal paint...
Next is Cobra Invasor! One of the international villains... I think he was supposed to be a sort of Cobra Trooper, but I thought he'd be more interesting as an individual Cobra agent. I broke my own rule of using Snake Eyes' head on this one. Recipe: Head: SE v1 black Body: SE v1 gray Kneecaps: Viper Vest: cp Firefly Satchel: cp Snake Eyes Guns: Marauder |

I then painted a spare General Hawk V2 helmet Cobra blue, and used enough Super-Glue to make a mask over his mouth, then painted the iconic black mask/balaclava thing. The figure really looks military without that silly cape, and I like the body enough but I prefer the classic CC uniform, so this guy made a great Senior Cobra Officer. My alternate is to use the head/helmet from the new DVD pack para-Trooper. It looks the best, but I then have a headless para-Trooper, and really dig him. I'll post pics in my own thread in a few days once I get everything together. |

It's a personal rule of mine I applied to Cobra de Aco; Snake-Eye's mask is too distinct to use in customs for characters like de Aco, Cobra Mortal, and Invasor... in this instance I let it go.

I really like the invasor and the Spirit... we need more of these: Like my fellow low-tech customizers, I'd love to see a whole thread of "no paint" mods
