I like that head choice and the helmet over the Con versions.

Easy Griff.... there's factory paint apps right there indeed, all flesh, face and boots is the original painting.. .everything else is hard work!
Tks man! Quote:
And I didn't got the con one... but I am content with this one. Quote:
I like it. I have that same head which I wanted to use for this, but I don't want to paint the whole figure as I don't want to deal with paint wear/rub. I wish Hasbro releases that mold in the brownish color. Just painting on Camoflage, I can deal with...haha.
Great job! Thank you! Quote:

I use humbrol because here in Brazil it has more availability then testors... Quote:
Great work!
That mold was always a great sculpt, good choice. Paint is super sharp and clean, although the camo could be a bit more realistic, it works fine. Don't worry about the beanie, the helmet you've chose works perfectly. I'd like to mention the incredible advance and evolution on your customs. I've saw lots of humble customizers here become some of the best, and you're on that path! Yeahh the camo could be more realistic ... I don't know if is possible to note.. .but there are 3 collors in the camo, dark brown, another dark brown and green.. but when I applied the coat the contrast vanished a bit... by the way, my inspiration for the camo started here Soviet Army Stuff - Russian Military Uniforms, "Ushanka" Fur Hats, Gas Masks, Badges. Spetsnaz. - Product details But I was humble enough to no try that... also I wanted that the main color to be the light brown. Thank you man! Tks all for commenting... I do my customs because I love action figures and GI-Joe ... but I don't feel they are really finished until I share the pics here in the forums |

Great job! Not too crazy about the helmet/beanie, but other than that, she looks fantastic.

Thanks man, really, there're some guys here that get on my nerves because of how good they are... still I try to find my own path.

Gi Joe is kind of corny, so figures always have some degree of non-realism, otherwise they would be just soldiers. Your Daina looks pretty cool and characteristic enough.

Meh, don't worry about realism, as i've said, it works great your way.

So cool. I have been using a similar combo as GI Jane for a couple of years. I love that head sculpt. There are some nice female head sculpts in the SW lines.
