This was the last wave of Joes I was interested in as a kid, the last series I really collected, as I got "older" GI Joe moved into Retaliation...I mean Ninja Force mode and it just wasn't my bag.
I really didn't notice the difference in quality of the Joe Universe with the DIC series when I was a kid, but as an adult...WOW. I still felt that they toys were cool and I wanted to pay homage to them. With DIC now on DVD these characters have gotten "cooler" in my son's eyes and we've decided to build them to fill in the "gaps" that hasbro has yet to make. Some of them have been his created works...he's really getting into finding parts, building and painting the figures...pretty cool. With out further ado... and Hawk V2 - POC styled Bullhorn and Sneak Peek - classic styled Freefall and the "Traitor" Scoop - freely imagined Rampart (classic) and Cpt. GridIron (freely imagined) Pathfinder Ambush Salvo (he still needs writing...I know) Stretcher Spearhead (no max) |

I have a hunch that Rampart and Bullhorn are on the horizon..
Muskrat too. Your Bullhorn looks spot on.

Those look great! just a quick observation, wouldn't Hawk be V3? (one being an original 13, two being in the leather jacket)

Cool and nice job on them. I love the fact that you and your son are working on them together and he is getting into it. Keep up the great work and fun!
