When Wreckage popped up in the Tiger Force 6-pack back in 2003 I thought he was a total, unoriginal ripoff of Firefly. But then the idea of a dedicated demolitions guy on the Joe team started to make more sense to me, so I decided to make my own version.
I kept the solid colored, contrasting balclava, swapped the legs, and gave him a different weapon to help distinguish him from Firefly. THIS CUSTOM IS FOR SALE. $20 obo or trade (see B/S/T link in my signature). Recipe: Head: Firefly Torso: Firefly Arms: Firefly Waist: Firefly Legs: Hardball

Not a bad custom. I'm surprised Hasbro never got around to making one the last 5 years. It's a simple repaint of Firefly, so it seems a no-brainer.

I like it. I, too, am surprised Hasbro hasn't gotten around to doing an ME version. Could be an easy one for the club, either in the FSS or at the con.

I like where you were going with this one, but the paint looks like it could use a bit of refinement.
Coverage on the dots is uneven...some are lighter, some are darker...I think they'd look better if they were all the same. Also there are slight draw marks from when you flopped the brush down and then pulled it away...needed a bit more patience to lift the brush away so it only left a dot...or maybe use something like a q tip instead of a brush.. It's always great to see Vintage ARAH customs..keep up the good work. |

Good stuff. I would recommend using another masked head (Storm Shadow maybe) just to make it a bit less Firefly. Great pattern painting, too.
