This is a figure of R.J. MacReady from The Thing. I've wanted to make this figure for a while. The Thing is my favorite horror movie ever made. Tell me what you think.

"First goddamn week of winter." That's a great custom, man. The Thing is one of my favorites too. I'm sure you've seen it, but there's a video floating around YouTube where someone used old Joes to re-enact some scenes from The Thing. I'm sorry I don't remember what it was called.

nice custom kurt russel is in my opinion ,one of best actors ever love him in every movie he's ever been in ,and the thing is probably the best movie ever made, great figure i dig the hair alot all you need now is that symbiote dog from hell , very cool fig good job........ "damn you hasbro"

Awesome, man ~ one of my favorite movies too!!!
I was surprised how well it's held up compared to a lot of 80s movies when i watched it a couple years back ~ sure soem of the effects are a tad dodgy, but overall the look and feel was terrific, it could have been made 20 years later and you'd barely be able to tell the difference (a lot of 70s and 80s movies look "cheap" because of the film stock and cameras used) did you sculpt the hair?
