Here is a custom Hit and Run that I just finished. Never had this character growing up but always wanted one
Recipe: Head: ROC Ripcord Body: Modded Barbecue (as in I took the tank thing on his chest off...didn't realize their was pockets underneath but I messed them up when dremiling off the tank) Webgear: Crossbones from the Captain America comic pack (covers up my poor dremeling job on his chest) Helmet: Tomahawk's from the Pursuit of Cobra Ghost Hawk Let me know what you think Last edited by TheVP; 06-13-2012 at 04:17 PM.. |

Nice idea on parts, any advice on taking the tank off and not damaging the pockets? Did you see where it was glued?

I have another barbecue or two @ the house I will look at when I get home to see if there is a spot to just pop the tank off. If I was a little more careful with my dremel I could have easily cut a slit in the middle of the tank and used a small flathead screwdriver to pop it off. Thank you for the nice comments. |

I actually started investigating with a watchmakers screwdriver and it turns out the tank is soft plastic so it's pretty easy to lever a corner off (from the side) and then just pull the rest away without damaging anything. Now I just need to get rid of the white remnants of the glue (acetone here I come!)
