Next up is Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.
"I am Gotham's reckoning." Once again Mattel short changes the1/18th consumer with poorly articulated 4" figures. Now i was all over these when TDK came out but mostly because I got 2 figures for $4.99 and I was excited to have TDK figures in that scale. I ended up bashing most and was happy with the result so I went at it agin with TDKR figures. Again I was inspired by the Retaliation Roadblock figure. It's a great big man mold and perfect for an imposing looking Bane figure that wasn't as oversized as he in the comics. I really liked the look of Nolan's Bane and wanted to mirror it as closely as possible. I took the head from the Mattel Bane figure and did away with the rest. I didn't want to sculpt the vest and there w so few Joe pieces that would fit the elongated and bulky torso of RB, so I actually went with a vest from the Power Team Elite figures. Parts: Head - Mattel TDKR Bane Body, arms, upper legs - Retaliation 3 pack Roadblock Lower legs - POC Cobra Shock Trooper Vest - PTE figure Hope you like him!

Awesome, It's a shame that Mattel doesn't take these 4' figures more seriously in the articulation department. The sculpts are usually pretty good. Good work, by the way.
