I just bought the three pack with Beach Head (Incredible figure) and swapped in the hands on night ops Roadblock on the regular Roadblock figure. I was just as happy without any of the drilling, sanding and repainting.

I like how you fixed him! The hands have articulation! I might want to try that! Also how did you swap the legs? Did you cut the boot parts off both figures and glue them together? Or swap out the lower legs and paint?

ugh. too much work. I'll just wait until next year and pick up the wave 2 version. very cool idea/execution, just more time than I want to spend trying to fix what Hasbro should not have screwed up in the first place.
Such an unusual wave. you had great figures like SS, zartan, CC, joe trooper and red ninja. then the absolute bombs like cross-eyed duke and roadblock. |

Great fix, man!
Like the pic with the plan. Or am I just lazy? I know Crossbones lower legs will do the job too... And I agree with you: Roadblock is black, this is the Rock. As a Joe. But I have room for both tho...

I used ROC Nightadder's lower legs. I then cut the knee pads off the Retaliation RB figure sanded them down with a dremmel so that it was just the Pads and glued them onto Nightadder's knees.

Damnit Hasbro, why do you have to make it so hard... this figure would have been so awesome with full articulation!
