Since I was little I've always liked Plasticman so I decided to copy the Cyclops feet, and hips. Combine them w/ my "Resinman" head, and a Namor body to get this great Plasticman:
Before paint: After paint:

the headcast and idea are good. but your paint is really sloppy
also, he would be much better on the spiderman body from the comic 2 pack |

To CobraOfficer999, and rcjunkie thanks. I used to watch reruns of the old Plasticman cartoon when I was a kid, and I always wanted a good Plasticman fig.
Hurricane, do you do customs? I looked back through 7 pages, and didn't see a single one done by you. I know that my painting isn't factory crisp, but it isn't all over the place either. I chose the Namor body, because he's always had broader shoulders in the comics, and the cartoons (look up Plasticman images, and hold the 2 figures up next to the images, and you'll see I picked the right one). Plus the Namor body already being flesh made it easier to paint the flesh in two thin coats. I'm planning on making some pop on stretchy arms, and weapon hands for him, and Reed.

That looks great! I love Plastic Man. It's a shame Mattel didn't make their Infinite Heroes line more super-posable like the Marvel Universe figures, if they did it would probably look like yours. Good work.

Pretty doggone good. At first blush I thought the feet were the odd choice - I remembered Plastic Man having bare feet, but I looked it up and most of the time his feet were flesh colored but you don't see toes so your choice was correct. (Every now and then you do see an image with toes drawn in.) It will be interesting to see what attachments you come up with for the figure - definitely one of the goofier DC characters and was right there with the Schmoo and Speed Buggy in wacky cartoons from my childhood.

Sorry man, but just because I don't make lots of customs doesn't mean I don't have eyes. Maybe the body choice is okay afterall, but your paint IS sloppy. Don't get butthurt if you can't take a criticism of your work. Either get thicker skin or do a better job |

I agree you Rodimus, the body choice was correct but your paint is a bit rough, mainly the black laces on the chest, but it is far from sloppy. I do some customs and if you need validation of my skills then go to my channel (TheIRONSPQR's channel - YouTube), but overall great tribute to Plasticman!!
The only reason I said something to the other guy is that if you don't do customs you don't understand the process, and the problems.
