I always consider casting things in the right colors. I do my work so that the most people can use it. and I try to make things so that even newbs can use them. But Even a newb has to grow and learn. not everything can be so easy.
I did consider casting in colors but getting resin to color match a plastic is a horrible amount of guesswork and luck. Totally not worth the effort. If you're worried about paint rubbing off, try model masters flat overcoat lacquer. works great.

Looks good Darkskythe and I think you've put together some good stuff. I agree that the price is a bit steep, but I understand where you're coming from.
So while I understand it, man if you could get these hands down to say $3 for 2 pairs, you'd sell a million of em. |

Thanks for the suggestion, I will do that. But my lack of interest in painting will remain. I could take the time to learn, but I want my mods to be as hassle free as possible. Minimal anything is always good for my lazy ass. I'll be sure to pick up the laccquer though, I do have some minor paint apps that could use better protection.
for those who can't paint. I do offer paint services as well. As does G.I. Eddie, who also does commision work. He does great work! |

Just a question are this in hard plastic or soft bendable plastic. If its hard plastic I think I will pass because it will be difficult to put a gun in is hand without making some rubbing and therefore chipping the paint off.

You need to get smooth-on product called Color Match 327. It has a soft yet firm consistancy that make for good hand type of plastic.

Drop the price and I will take half a dozen for my squad. Do we know if there is a paint out there that will match the colors for the regular Viper?

$15 for a sculpted, hand cast piece is very reasonable. I know it took a lot of time to get to the final step. Great job!
