I was customising a "THE CONDEMNED" Stone Cold GI JOE type figure from those Build and Brawl figures. Today I was taking off the one of the knee braces from Stone Cold and "POP" one of the straps from the side popped off. After swearing like a sailor, I realized I came up with something. They almost resemble the straps on both Zap and Short Fuze. I took an extra Grunt I got in trade and placed the strap around the torso and as Emril says BAMM!!! it worked. For Zap I would have to paint one brown, but for Short Fuze it looks good. So instead of buying the 60 dollar Short Fuze I made a poor mans version of that figure. Just wondering if they had a strap on the back; or is it just the two arm straps and one body strap going across chest?

1) Get a Photobucket account & upload your pics there. I recommend keeping the size of your pics in the neighborhood of 480x640. It's the size the mods seem to prefer.
2) Under the pics you just uploaded will be a series of lines such as 'email & IM', 'direct link', etc.. Click in the text box to the right of 'img code'. Your browser will automatically copy the code. 3) Compose your post. 4) Insert your image code into your post with a paste command (ctrl-v). 5) Submit post. 6) Smile. Alternately, under the box you compose your post in are a series of additional options. Click 'manage attachments'. Be aware there are limits however.

Does anyone have a vintage Zap or Short Fuze? Wanna know if they had an extra strap on back of this harness?

Yeah, it looks to me like the harness was simply a figure eight with one strap on the front.

Oh hell then I guess it did come out perfect!!! All I gotta do now is paint Zap's to be brown and leave Short Fuze's Black the way it is.
