At times, this one felt kind of experimental--just trying to see how different things look. This is one I thought might work after seeing the Retaliation RB body. Things rarely work out simply, though. At first, I was hopeful that the 25th CH legs would fit. Even though they are plenty long, they are way too thin at the top. I tried a lot of different legs to capture the look of the original legs, but nothing fit properly. Then, I almost sculpted the padding on the inner legs, but decided to just try painting first. I thought I might not be able to do it well, plus these legs work alright for a modern-looking figure. I like how this turned out.
I originally wanted the helmet and mask to both be removable, but I had to cut off his nose to get it to fit snugly so I decided to permanently affix the mask to the head. That's ok by me, I didn't need him to look just like the Rock. This gives it a little of a movie Bane look anyway, which I kind of like. I was worried about the colors. I couldn't decide how bright to make it, so I tried something more muted and just took a chance on the camo. His feet are fully articulated now--I cut the RB figure off at the ankle, made a hole, did some trimming, and inserted Heavy Duty feet. I'll post some detailed pics a little later.

it works, and i agree about not worrying about a removable helmet- no need. good idea with the feet, too.
i would like a little more neon green, but i understand wanting to keep it less gaudy. |

Damn! Now that's awesome work there, love the camo job and the outline with brown on the lighter green camo spots must have been a pain.
