Are there really peeps trying to slam this guy for his work?
FINK, I am not sure if you were looking for him to mention you or your work as inspiration, but the accusations that are being tossed around are just silly (not directed at you big dog as I draw on you for inspiration at times too). I mean Hell, my Krake used the same base as UMAN's but our final products differ slightly. And no one slammed my ass for that even though the base and the paints were 1 for 1. Still gotta thank that guy for showing me that blue I used too, as that is now my go to blue ;). Now if this guy bought FINK'S work then posted it saying it was his, then and only then are there issues to be taken up. Otherwise, let's all just enjoy these silly threads for what they are and keep our contributions to the community coming in full speed ahead. To the OP, nice work, I have wanted to do one of these as well, since FINK posted his, but I have yet to find that lower body or even make an honest attempt. COBRA-LA ranks low on my JOE list aside from the Enforcer. ;)

WOW. Acting like little girls. "That's what I did!" BOO HOO!!!!! These are customs, ladies.
I looked again to make sure he never said the idea was entirely his own original, and guess what? He didn't. It's moments like these that remind me why I don't get too involved in this place. A bunch of babies. WTF? I actually had to read the posts a couple of times in order to believe what I was reading. Patents on customs? You guys are weird. It's embarrassing. Like the "I can't believe these are grown men arguing over customs of toys" kind of embarrassing.

I'm so glad the tide of this thread has turned. Awesome work Sneek! No matter where you got your inspiration from the effort and results are yours alone, and they are spectacular.

If we're talking about Golobulus, I don't think the two customs even look similar, other than they both look like Golobulus.
I think it's a beautiful custom. Nice job! Hear, hear. |
