How do you remove the Cobra head dress from Serpentor's back? I want to take it off and put on the painted series 2 2007 Serpentor. It's glued in but I'm hoping there is some trick to removing it other than cutting it off. thanks!

I just cut it off :(
It does hold quite well on mine because the cape actually will hold it in place even though there is no tab.

I cut it off also then drilled a hole in the hood were the original post was then salvaged the post from an extra Battle armor CC backpack and combined them.

I don't have an broken post from another figure so that won't work for me. I guess I'll try krazy glue and when that doesn't work I use gorrila glue.

I just completed my own Custom Serpentor mod after opening the DVD pack. I tore off the hood from DVD-Serpentor and instead of trying to find some sort of back pack that I wasn't using, I looked around the house for something that would fit the peg hole. Q-Tips these days are made out of plastic tubes that almost fit, but are slightly too narrow.
Here's my solution, I cut the ends off a plastic Q-Tip and heated up the tube so it was soft and easily bendable/stretchable, then shoved a toothpick down the tube. Just cut out the length that's needed, maybe about a quarter inch and it fits the back peg hole well. I super glued that to the hood. Make sure you let the glue harden before handling it. You can't be too rough with it, but it works well enough for me. Just trying to save some back packs. |

Just slowly pull it off the back of your serpentor. Mine came off after a little tug of war in pretty good condition. Use Lock-tite super glue and it and stuck fine.
